I think it's something along the lines of... Hiromi is feigning his illness because it got better, and should work, but doesn't... and in the end his illness gets worse and makes him collapse? Is that right? It seems weird to me.

Well... this entire movie seems weird to me. Melons? :/

I just wanted to put in a word here (one I've been meaning to put in for a few months and have been too lazy to, so apologies if it's all a little vague now) about the Tokyo senshuuraku.

I saw Fancy Dance live a couple of times, and so I was a little disappointed in some of the camera angle choices on the commercial DVD (although, don't get me wrong, I adore the DVD). Also, I couldn't wait for Sky Stage to broadcast the revue because of the scenes with replaced music--I wanted to experience the original again.

But I was hugely disappointed. I've never seen a raku where everyone seemed so drained; I felt like I was watching them go through the motions (painfully!) as they counted down the seconds until they could sleep for 48 hours straight. I almost felt embarrassed for them, watching it. Without the passion of the actors, it just becomes glaringly obnoxious and stilted choreography. Also, the music sounded shriller, and I think they rearranged some of it. :/

On the other hand, they did put more wide-angle shots during Tango Noir.... I could watch Masaki and Kiriyan dancing in synch once more<3

Not much going on today, except HOLY CRAP AN AVALANCHE OF HARRY POTTER STILLS. Also, Sister Girl has gotten a Brittany spaniel puppy (she's living in an apartment on her own now, not here with us, so it's very much her first pet as an independent adult), and he is tiny and and skinny and recovering from some stomach parasite and darling. I held Pete in the car when she took him to the vet this morning, and despite how sick and sad he was when she first got him earlier this week, he kept looking up at me and breaking out into this huge grin, like, "This is the sweet life!" AWWWW.

In every Visual Boy entry for a while now, Nagayan has a "menu list" of 3 possible topics he's going to talk about that day, and then does "lottery" which he admits he just randomly picks one to talk about.

Just wondering, did anyone else whom preordered Victory of Eagles via Barnes and Nobles get a surprise call telling that they had the book waiting? Because as far as I knew it was still six days until the release and yet here I am staring at the cover. Not that I'm complaining or anything *grins*

So, even though things are annoyingly poopy in my love-life right now, I still managed to pull of a 106 on my math test yesterday. I think that's the highest grade I've ever made in a math class in my life. So fuck all this personal drama! I'm gonna go have a fun weekend.

Hope I don't blow off any fingers...
